The Terrapins recently picked up their first recruit in nearly three months, in the form of three-start safety Allen Dawson. The Florida recruit is the 23rd commitment in Boston College's 2014 class and recieved interest from UConn and Penn State.

While the Terps added to their 2014 football class, the Pittsburgh Panthers just started building their 2015 basketball recruiting class after landing a commitment from 6-4 guard Damon Wilson. Rivals.com gives Wilson a four-star rating, while Scout.com pegs him at three. With his size, Wilson has the versatility to play both the one and two effeciently.

Speaking of the Panthers, the Yellow Jackets recently took them down 21-10 and landed three-star defensive end Antonio Simmons, the 19th member of Paul Johnson's 2014 recruiting class. The 6-4, 210-pound DE visited Georgia Tech for the first time during the Pitt game and committed to the school the very next day.

While Florida State has been in the news more for football of late, the basketball department has been active. too, landing the second commitment of its 2014 recruiting class. Robbie Berwick, a 6-4, 185-pound gaurd actually committed to the Noles during halftime of the FSU-Miami football game.

Four-star outside linebacker Adonis Thomas has only taken one recruiting trip this fall, despite at least nine programs showing interest. The lucky school? Clemson and Dabo Swinney's Tigers of course. Thomas said that Clemson was the only place he wanted to "check out the gameday experience so far."

This Saturday, Georgia wide receiver Keyston Fuller could be visiting North Carolina. The 2015 prospect was working on the details for the trip yesterday. Both UNC and Georgia Tech have offered the 6-0, 178-pound receiver, and he is receiving interest from Georgia and Clemson, as well.

If Fuller is able to make the trip to Chapel Hill, he will be joining an impressive group of out-of-state recruits along the sidelines of Kenan Stadium as the Tar Heels take on Virginia.

Duke was recently the odd man out with Kevon Looney (he chose UCLA over the Blue Devils and Florida), but Coach K could still wind up with the best hoops recruiting class in the nation with Jahlil Okafor, Tyus Jones and Justise Winslow still being undecided.

Be sure to check out the ACCSports.com Atlantic Division Commitment list, which was updated just a few days ago. You can also check out the latest update of the Coastal Division list.

Four-star running back Derrell Scott talks about his recent visit to N.C. State. The trip was his second official visit to check out the school but his first time going to watch an actual game.

Several schools have offered 6-3 combo gaurd Curt Jones, including N.C. State, Virginia and VCU. Check out this video to see what all the coaches are trying to win.

Boston College recently offered 2015 four-star offensive lineman Grant Newsome, out of Lawrenceville, N.J.
