ACC Football Commitment Lists: Atlantic Division, Aug. 1

Most of the schools that made big recruiting news summer have been quiet, as their boats have mostly loaded up (Boston College, N.C. State). Florida State made the biggest news in the last two weeks with five additional commitments, which includes three new defensive tackles.

For an update on the Coastal Division,

All names of recruits will appear in bold.

Boston College

Boston College didn’t add any new commitments, but they stand at 21 commitments, so the class is nearly full. RB Richard Wilson was the last commitment on July 8.


The Tigers added in Jabril Robinson, becoming the first defensive line commitment for Clemson.

Florida State

Defensive tackle Frederick Jones, who has had including the great Marvin Jones, has committed. In addition to Jones, two other defensive tackles have committed, which includes and . The Seminoles also in Javonte Seabury from Orlando. Dual-sport athlete and local Tallahassee running back Johnathan Vickers to play for FSU.

N.C. State

The #Pack14 stayed pat at 22 commitments over the last two weeks with the last commitment being Deshaywn Middleton on July 1.


A three-star has committed to Syracuse in Lamar Dawson. We’re also adding WR Corey Cooper, who committed to Syracuse for the 2013 class but failed to qualify out of high school and in hopes of getting to Syracuse in January.

Wake Forest

Wake Forest stayed at eight commitments with LB Kalin McNeil being the last on July 16.
