Though BC is already bowl eligible, getting a win against Syracuse would help their bowl prospects. From the Syracuse perspective, these articles look at Boston College's offense and defense

This writer said Tajh Boyd is the best quarterback to have ever played at Clemson. The South Carolina Tigerburn is heating up the rivalry this week.

The UNC-Duke football game is becoming more of a rivalry game than N.C. State to some of the UNC players. Coach K was pretty blunt in his assessment of the close game against Vermont, saying Duke was awful.

Florida State
FSU officially announced the signings of four basketball players for the 2014 class. Four players on the football team are finalists for national awards, such as the Davey O'Brien, Maxwell, Mackey, Jim Thorpe and Groza.

Georgia Tech
Linebacker Brandon Watts looks like he will be able to play Saturday. That and more notes in this article.

Maryland defeated Providence to win the Paradise Jam title by the score of 56-52 in the US Virgin Islands. Here's a video of the basketball team going snorkeling

Though the Hurricanes are hobbled by injuries, they still are looking to finish off the season strong. There's especially bad injury news in the secondary, with two of the cornerbacks out for the year.

North Carolina
CBS writer Gary Parrish gave his thoughts in a podcast about UNC's big win over Louisville. Junior tight end Eric Ebron will forego his senior year and enter the NFL draft

N.C. State
With a healthy Jordan Vandenberg, N.C. State looks to improve as they take on Florida Gulf Coast Tuesday. This blog post says Maryland-NCSU game will feature two bad teams in a meaningless game.

Notre Dame
Notre Dame isn't worried about recruiting when it comes to their bowl decision. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly from Notre Dame's win over BYU

Derrick Randall is finding peace on Pitt's basketball team after having to experience the whole Mike Rice abuse ordeal at Rutgers. Will Pitt basketball reap the benefits of a struggling ACC? In football, Aaron Donald's play has impressed former OL Bill Fralic.

Syracuse football isn't the prettiest thing to watch, but it's still in the hunt for a bowl game. The basketball team, led by C.J. Fair, held off Minnesota 75-67 in the Maui Invitational.

Logan Thomas provided the Cavaliers with some bulletin board material, pretty much saying he didn't go there because they were losing a lot and didn't have good fans. The Cavaliers will split QB duties between David Watford and Greyson Lambert.

Virginia Tech
Both Virginia and VT are motivated for this rivalry game to finish out the season. The Hokies are ramping up for this game because a win, plus a few other results in the ACC, could help VT reach the ACC Championship Game.

Wake Forest
The Demon Deacons will take their talents to Hawaii in 2015 to play in the Maui Invitational.
