Boston College
Florida State topped Boston College 74-70 as the Eagles failed to protect the nest yet again. Boston College definitely competed in the game, but like many of the Eagles' contests this season, they came up just short.

While Boston College has been losing close games, the Tigers managed to pull out another close one, beating Miami 58-54 last night. Dabo Swinney announced yesterday that four players - all potential starters - would be suspended for the team's season-opening game against Georgia.

After an extended break, the Blue Devils will get back to the court tonight against Wake Forest. The Duke baseball team will be making up their postponed game against Liberty at 3 p.m. today. 

Florida State
The Florida State basketball team bolstered its tournament hopes with a road win against Boston College last night. Aaron Thomas and Okaro White helped propel the team to victory with 26 and 24 points respectively.

Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jacket basketball team went into New York and shocked Syracuse on Senior Night with a 67-62 victory. Ken Sugiura writes about what the win over the Orange actually means for Georgia Tech.

The Maryland Terrapins used a strong second half, which featured timely perimeter shooting, to take down Virginia Tech 64-47. During the game, Maryland forward Charles Mitchell got into an argument with an assistant coach and was removed from the floor.

Dallas Crawford's versatility is extremely important to the Miami football team. Tim "Ice" Harris is joining the Miami football team as the assistant director of football operations.

North Carolina
C.L. Brown argues that this season is Roy Williams' best coaching job of his career. We all knew that Larry Fedora loved to go fast ... but maybe we didn't know how fast. Fedora is going to be driving the pace car on March 30 in Martinsville, Va., for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

N.C. State
N.C. State's 1974 title team enjoyed a reunion. Meanwhile, T.J. Warren went nuclear for the Wolfpack in its game against Pittsburgh.

Notre Dame
The Notre Dame football program extended new scholarship offers on Junior Day. Andrew Hall highlights the latest news from the Fighting Irish football team.
