Boston College
Brian Favat takes a look at Boston College's scholarship chart for next year's football team. Favat also takes a look at how good the Atlantic Division is compared with the Pac-12 South division.

When the Clemson basketball team travels to Auburn, K.J. McDaniels will be celebrating his homecoming. The Orange Bowl is going to feature some of the most talented players in the country between the Tigers and Ohio State.

Forward Alex Murphy is transferring to Florida, where he is hoping to develop more as a player. The Blue Devils have just three games left before conference play starts - they will face Notre Dame on January 4.

Florida State
While many people think Jimbo Fisher would be a good fit for the open head coaching job at Texas, Fisher himself is steering clear of any talk about it. The Seminoles hit the practice field yesterday afternoon for the first time since wrapping up a BCS Championship Game birth.

Georgia Tech
As Georgia Tech prepares for the Music City Bowl, this writer takes a look at the bowl's history. Ken Suguira wonders if one play by Jeremiah Attaochu back in September was the team's most important play of the entire season.

Brendan Darr looks at which Terps basketball players' stocks are rising and which are falling. Maryland made a tribute video to honor their senior football players. You can check that out here.

Calvin Heurtelou recently signed with the Canes. In addition to the East-West Shrine Game, Stephen Morris will be playing in the 2014 Senior Bowl, along with teammate Brandon Linder.

North Carolina
The Tar Heels will have already got their practice in this morning after losing to Texas last night. Roy Williams told media after the game that he was holding practice at 5 a.m. where the team--we're guessing--practiced a lot of free throws. Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham expects to have the P.J. Hairston situation resolved by the end of the week.

N.C. State
T.J. Warren scored 21 points and led the Wolfpack to a 65-58 victory against Tennessee. State has another game on the road (versus UNCG), plus a matchup with No. 23 Missouri that will show what the team has learned prior to the start of conference play.

Notre Dame
Notre Dame has been sending a ton of mail to potential recruits. Some wonder whether that's an effective way to bring a player to the program. When Notre Dame's ten-year contract with Adidas runs out next year, the Irish could sign with Under Armour.

Aaron Donald is the first Pittsburgh player to receive unanimous All-American honors since Larry Fitzgerald in 2003. The Panthers were stunned by Cincinnati's physicality and rebounding on Tuesday night.

Scott Schafer was one of the few new coaches who exceeded Sports Illustrated's preseason expectations this year. Syracuse athletic director Daryl Gross recently emailed ACC athletic directors about the conference's current football structure. The football schedule and division realignment seem to be the main topics that will be addressed next year.

The Cavaliers recently picked up an offensive line commitment in the form of Jacob Fieler.  Tony Bennett talks about the progress that his team is making. Saturday against Northern Iowa, the Virginia basketball team will try to get their first win in 21 days.

Virginia Tech
Shane Beamer and Bryan Stinespring's names have come up in talks about several head coaching jobs recently, but both said they remain focused on the Hokies' upcoming bowl game. J.C. Coleman looks to be the starting running back for Virginia Tech in the Sun Bowl, with Trey Edmunds out with a broken leg.

Wake Forest
Dave Clawson's new assistant head coach and receivers coach, Kevin Higgins, is one of Clawson's old friends. Former Wake Forest star Chris Paul recently had a double-double against his former NBA team, as the Clippers beat the Pelicans 108-95.
