Boston College
Could former Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy pull a Jacoby Brissett and transfer to an ACC school? Coach Steve Addazio has strong ties with Murphy, and was the lead man in his recruitment to the Gators. This season, running back Andre Williams (#Andre2000) made himself awfully familiar with ACC defenses; now, he's making himself more familiar with another group of people: the media.

Sammy Watkins - the No. 1 receiving prospect in the nation - is likely gone, departing a year early for the NFL Draft, but what will fellow juniors Vic Beasley and Martavis Bryant do? Bummerville for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers: five-star LB Raekwon McMillan (2014 class) picked Ohio State over Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.

Andre Dawkins sniped four three-pointers off the bench (well, technically he had to check in first - the bench is out of bounds), and the Blue Devils rolled, easily, over Gardner-Webb last night in Cameron Indoor Stadium, 85-66. If you follow the NBA, which I do because I'm a hoops junkie, you'll know one of the big reasons behind the Phoenix Suns fast start has been the drastically improved play of center Miles Plumlee.

Florida State
Leonard Hamilton's Seminoles have a tough out-of-conference opponent on the docket tonight, the Charlotte 49ers. ESPN.com released their 2013 All-American team, and four members of Florida State's ACC title team were named: Jameis Winston, Bryan Stork, Timmy Jernigan, and Lamarcus Joyner.

Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets looked rusty last night - after time off because of exams - but they end up taking down Kennesaw State 74-57, thanks to another monster game from sophomore big man Robert Carter, Jr. - 15 points, 15 rebounds.

In the absence of Seth Allen, freshman point guard Roddy Peters has done well managing Mark Turgeon's offense; Peters' strong play earned him ACC Rookie of the Week honors. Three-star OT Sean Christie committed to the Terps over the weekend; how will the New York native fit into the offensive line picture next season in College Park?

It was an up-and-down final season in South Beach (which is putting it, well, mildly) for senior signal caller Stephen Morris, who accepted an invitation yesterday to participate in this year's Senior Bowl. Former Louisville commit Marques Gayot - a three-star safety - flipped his decision, and has decided to run with Al Golden and the Canes next season.

North Carolina
Here's an all-access, behind the scenes look into the Tar Heels' big win from this past Saturday over Kentucky. Marcus Paige struggled in the first half against the Wildcats, but the sophomore guard exploded in the second half, scoring 21 points (23 total) in the final 20 minutes of play, which garnered him ACC Player of the Week recognition for the second time this season. Redemption is on the mind for the UNC seniors who plan to play against Cincinnati in this year's Belk Bowl.

N.C. State
Former NCSU guard Rodney Purvis - now at UCONN - will have surgery on his left shoulder today to fix a torn labrum. Four-star running back Derrell Scott, who slapped up 209 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the state championship game for Havelock (N.C.) High, has the Pack in his final three schools - along with South Carolina and Tennessee; State's newest commit - five-star DE Kentavius Street - is working on his recruiting pitch with Scott, too.

Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish - led by their senior backcourt of Jerian Grant and Eric Atkins - are preparing for Saturday's showdown with the No. 3 team in the land, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Panthers (10-0) look to stay unbeaten when they take on old Big East rival Cincinnati tonight in Madison Square Garden. CBS college basketball analyst Greg Anthony - who's somewhat of a rebel, if you ask me - is a proponent of this season's Pitt team. Say it with me: Aaron Donald is good at football; Aaron Donald is good at football; Aaron Donald is good at...well, you get the point, right?

This week's AP top 25 poll is out, and Syracuse - while receiving two first place votes - check in at No. 2. So, at this point in the season, where do these undefeated (10-0) Orange sit, according to their coach?

Head basketball coach Tony Bennett talks about this Saturday's opponent, the darlings of the 2010 NCAA Tournament, Northern Iowa.

Virginia Tech
Last night, Chris Durkin - a three-star QB in the 2014 class - decommitted from Michigan State, and gave a verbal commitment to the Hokies. Quarterback (and tight end?) Logan Thomas, defensive end James Gayle, and cornerback Kyle Fuller will all be in Mobile, Alabama for this year's Senior Bowl.

Wake Forest
After ten days off, the Demon Deacons are pumped to return to action tonight against St. Bonaventure. New head football coach Dave Clawson is working on building his staff; yesterday, Kevin Higgins, who has been the head coach at the Citadel since 2005, joined Clawson's staff as his assistant head coach.
