It’s down to the wire, as Quadree Henderson makes his commitment today. The three-star wide receiver recruit has narrowed his choices down to Pitt and Boston College.

Here are some things that could make or break his decision.

PITT

Pros:

-Only the third receiver in the past two classes could mean early time on the field.
-Learning from a wide receivers coach in Greg Lewis who has substantial NFL experience.
-Under head coach Paul Chryst, 12 true freshmen have played in the last season, and seven have made at least one start.

Cons:

-While wide receivers coach Greg Lewis has NFL playing experience, this will only be his second season as a coach.
-Uncertainty at the quarterback position as Chad Voytik and Trey Anderson battle to replace Tom Savage.

BOSTON COLLEGE

Pros:

-Will be working with wide receivers coach Todd Fitch, who has 27 years of experience coaching the position.
-Transfer quarterback Tyler Murphy is an experienced player who has played against some of the toughest defenses in college football at Florida.
-Head coach Steve Addazio understands winning; having won two national championships at Florida.

Cons:

-Boston College was ranked second-to-last in the ACC in receiving last season.
-He will be the sixth wide receiver Boston College has brought in over the past three seasons, it could be difficult to find his way onto the field.

Henderson would be a great get for Pitt coach Paul Chryst in his quest to fill the void at the slot receiver position. On the Boston College side, the younger quarterbacks on the roster are noted more for their athleticism than their throwing mechanics, and a go-to option in Henderson could be a real advantage.
