BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Virginia Tech coach James Johnson’s game-day routine in his coaching debut Saturday was much the same as it was in his previous role as an assistant coach. He felt excitement and jitters, he worried about not knowing all that much about his opponent and he wondered how his team would perform.
