CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Duke couldn’t have asked for a better lead-in to the Virginia game.

The Blue Devils were coming off a sloppy 1-goal victory against Marist, and the Cavaliers were ranked No. 1 in the country and the stakes were high: The winner would be the top seed in next weekend’s ACC tournament.
