CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Rion Brown more than overcame the poor shooting from his previous game.

Brown made 6 of 7 3-pointers and scored 19 points to lead Miami past Maryland, 80-66, Wednesday night. The freshman guard was just 1 of 10 from the field in the Hurricanes’ loss at Florida State Feb. 26.
