DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Luke Murton hit a three-run homer, Tony Plagman also connected and Georgia Tech beat Florida State 9-2 Saturday to avoid being swept at the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament.

Murton’s blast in the third inning gave the Yellow Jackets a 4-0 lead. Georgia Tech (35-17-1) has 104 home runs this season, the most in coach Danny Hall’s 16 seasons in Atlanta.
