CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - At this time a year ago, the Miami Hurricanes’ depth chart was an absolute mess. There were gaps at just about every position and the program just endured its worst season in three decades.

The situation is clearly better now.

And that’s what Hurricanes coach Randy Shannon found a tiny bit of solace in Sunday.
