Auburn Edges Out Virginia 58-56
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Dwayne Reed hit a 3-pointer with 1:24 left and Auburn held on for a 58-56 victory over Virginia on Saturday.
The Tigers (6-4) led 50-42 with 9:15 remaining before Virginia (4-4) scored 12 unanswered points, including five points each from Sammy Zeglinski and Sylven Landesberg, to take a 54-50 lead — its first since 12:42 left in the first half.
