Everybody remembers N.C. State and Maryland in 1974 or Randolph Childress in 1995 or Rick Barnes v. Dean Smith in 1996. For kicks, it’s time to revisit some ACC Tournament games you may have forgotten but shouldn’t have.
Miss You. Really. A Lot.
It’s fashionable to criticize modern players for their allegedly lax commitment to fundamentals – particularly in perimeter shooting. This…Brick On Baron, Palssonurn:uuid:1225c695-cfb8-4ebb-aaaa-80da344efa6a2010-03-09T12:20:00ZBrick On Baron, Palsson

“Without giving a thought to the inevitable result Midas wished that whatever he touched would turn into gold,” wrote Edith Hamilton in her 1940 book Mythology, Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes. “Of course Bacchus in granting the…ACC RPI Update, March 8urn:uuid:1225c695-cfb8-4ebb-aaaa-80da344efa6a2010-03-08T15:26:42ZACC RPI Update, March 8

Blue Devils still the best
Maryland may look like the best team in the ACC heading into the league tournament this week.
The Terps are riding a league-high seven-game winning streak, own a share of the regular-season title, and most importantly, managed to beat Duke, who finished tied for first with the Terps, on Wednesday night.
But the Terps followed up that signature victory with an…My All-ACC Balloturn:uuid:1225c695-cfb8-4ebb-aaaa-80da344efa6a2010-03-08T02:09:38ZMy All-ACC Ballot

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Locked in a spirited battle with undermanned Virginia, No. 22 Maryland got help from the most unexpected place in the final minute on Saturday afternoon.
With the Terrapins leading by a point, a blocking foul on Jerome Meyinsse sent Cavaliers coach Tony Bennett into a momentary rage. The first-year coach peeled his jacket off and threw it, and was called for a…Virginia Suspends Landesberg For Rest Of Season urn:uuid:1225c695-cfb8-4ebb-aaaa-80da344efa6a2010-03-06T13:52:02ZVirginia Suspends Landesberg For Rest Of Season

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Reeling Virginia on Saturday suspended scoring leader Sylven Landesberg for the rest of the season for failing to meet his academic obligations.
The school made the announcement about an hour before the Cavaliers took an eight-game losing streak into their afternoon regular season-finale against No. 22 Maryland.
