Steffy, Portis Lead Important Qb Derby

COLLEGE PARK – When Jordan Steffy signed with Maryland in February 2004, he became the highest-rated quarterback recruit of the Ralph Friedgen era.
That title since has been taken away by Josh Portis, another high school All-American. Portis transferred to Maryland from Florida in January 2006.
