If someone had told me before this season began that an ACC team would win 23 games, 10 league games, finish third in the conference standings and be left out of the NCAA tournament field, I’d have thought that person was certifiably insane.

The NCAA is investigating the expansion of the NCAA tournament field from its current size of 65 teams to 96 teams.

ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt on Tuesday lashed out at suggestions his rollover contract is the only reason he still has his job.
