With Hot Seat Ready, Bowden Absorbs Hits

CLEMSON — Last July at the ACC’s preseason kickoff event, Clemson coach Tommy
Bowden was hit with the dreaded hot-seat question. As the Sports Journal indicated
at the time, it came a year too early. It’s for real now.
After the departure of backup quarterback Willie Simmons to Florida A&M,
the news just continued to get worse for Bowden.
