Interesting Story: Quarterback signee Codi Boek began his college career at Idaho State, but he returned to his hometown of Sacramento this past summer after his father was diagnosed with stage-four cancer. After spending the 2007 season at American River College in Sacramento and taking care of his dad, Boek committed to BC in October. He will have three years of eligibility for the Eagles, starting with the 2008 season.

Top 2008 Recruiters: Wide receivers coach Ryan Day helped the Eagles secure commitments from four-star prospects Josh Haden and Okechukwu Okoroha from the D.C. area, plus four-star offensive lineman Mike Goodman from Miami. Day also served as the lead recruiter for BC commitments Justin Tuggle of Georgia, Stephen Atkinson of Fort Lauderdale and Max Holloway of Tampa. Special teams/tight ends coach Don Yanowski, who recruits Texas and Illinois for the Eagles, served as the lead recruiter for BC commitments Nick Clancy and Emmett Cleary from suburban Chicago, plus multiple talented prospects from the Lone Star State, including Ugo Ukpara, Clyde Lee and Donte Elliott.
