December 2, 2002 To the editor:
I was disappointed with the lack of respect your last issue (11/15-12/5) gave to the UVa football team. You raved about Maryland, but Maryland is not even close to the best story of the ACC’s seven bowl-eligible teams.
Virginia, playing eight or more freshmen, competed against a top-12 schedule and is going to win nine (I firmly believe) games….
