Oliver Purnell’s 20-year track record as a head coach is very clear: He very, very rarely takes steps backward as he builds a program. Given that Purnell took Clemson to the NCAA Tournament last season for the first time since 1998, the 2008-09 campaign could be another very interesting one for the Tigers.
