David Glenn On: Virginia Basketball, 2008
Eleven ACC teams entered the 2008-09 season with at least one player who already had done some outstanding things at the college level. Virginia will have to seek a different path to success.
The name and face of the UVa program for much of the past four years, three-time first-team All-ACC point guard Sean Singletary, is off to the NBA, where he’s playing this season for the Phoenix Suns. That means a new era, and perhaps another difficult season, for the Cavaliers.
