Dare we say it? Things are going ... well for the Maryland football program. After two lackluster seasons, the Terrapins are 4-0 so far, and as of last weekend, have received a commitment from another four-star prospect. World, meet Juwann Winfree.

The Englewood, New Jersey-native has all the looks of a play-maker: tall, rangy, with speed to burn. Winfree is listed as an athlete - he plays some defensive back too, but almost every scouting service has him projected as a wide receiver.

Winfree was in College Park two weekends ago for his official visit. While on campus, he was able to witness the Terps 37-0 mauling of West Virginia, which I'm sure didn't hurt their cause.

The offer list for Winfree, which includes two SEC schools, is very impressive: Georgia (!!!), Michgan, N.C. State, Vanderbilt, and Pittsburgh.

He is the 11th commitment for Edsall's 2014 class, which includes fellow four-star recruits defensive end Jesse Aniebonam and quarterback Will Ulmer.

The Maryland staff and fan base must be salivating at the opportunity to watch Winfree get on the field in their spread offense with the likes of Stefon Diggs and Deon Long. These are all guys who can make plays in space.
