It's been said before, but it bears repeating, I think: offensive linemen are imperative to the success of Paul Johnson's triple-option attack at Georgia Tech. Having skilled, athletic big guys - and enough of them to establish some quality depth - is critical. On that note, the Yellow Jackets have recently added another solid OL verbal commitment: Andrew Marshall.
Marhall plays center on his high school team at West Forsyth (Cumming, Ga.) High School. With his frame - 6-4, 265 pounds - Marshall should be able to add some additional bulk, and could transition to guard once he arrives in Atlanta.
247Sports.com has the three-star recruit ranked as the No. 12 center in the nation, and the No. 97 player, overall, in the state of Georgia. He received scholarship offers from a variety of other regional school: Duke, East Carolina, Wake Forest, and South Alabama - among others.
Marshall is the 17th commit of PJ's 2014 class. For highlights of the young OL prospect, check his Hudl profile.
