Bennie Boatwright, a four-star shooting guard from Mission Hills, California, released his list of 10 finalists in his recruiting. N.C. State, who made a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-9 Boatwright last year, is not on the list.
It appears that Boatwright wants to stay closer to home, instead of crossing the country to attend college. Eight of his finalists are Pac-12 schools. Cal-Poly is also on his short list. UConn is the only East Coast school that made the cut.
