Less than a week after taking his official visit to Blacksburg, T.J. Lang - a three-star wing guard/forward from Mobile, Alabama - has committed to Virginia Tech.
The 6-6, 195 pound Lang, who is the son of former Duke basketball player Antonio Lang, joins Justin Bibbs as the second commit in coach James Johnson's 2014 recruiting class. The two committed about a week apart from one another.
According to 247Sports.com, Lang had scholarship offers from six different programs, including Virginia Tech, Oregon State, Appalachian State, Samford, Georgia Southern, and Louisiana-Lafayette.
Information regarding Lang isn't exactly easy to come by. However, according to Mike Barber, who covers Virginia Tech for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Lang averaged 17.1 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game last season as a junior for McGill-Toolen Catholic High School.
With senior small forward Jarell Eddie leaving the program after the conclusion of the 2013-14 season, there should be plenty of playing time available for Lang. For more on Lang, check out some of his highlights from his 2012-13 season:
