Jeremiah: ‘James Hurst Could Be a Second-Rounder’

Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network hopped on The David Glenn Show on Tuesday, and when asked if there was a prospect from the Carolinas who is flying under the radar, he didn’t hesitate with his answer.

“The forgotten man is James Hurst from North Carolina.  Because of the injury, he couldn’t compete in the postseason stuff, but you talk about somebody that could play tackle.  I think he could slide inside and play guard as well.”

“I think he’s somebody that could sneak into that second round.  If not, you’re probably looking at a really good third-round pick.”

Jeremiah also touched on highly rated wideout Sammy Watkins out of Clemson and ex-Florida State receiver Kelvin Benjamin.  Click below to hear the full interview.
