With the ACC Tournament tipping off on March 12, we are only weeks away from the contagious madness that touches all of us this time of year. This year’s edition of the event features 15 teams for the first time in league history, and a string of Wednesday games will add another wrinkle for the schools at the bottom.
It’s worth noting that it’s been 10 years since anyone outside of the top four seeds won the tournament (Maryland in 2003-04). Furthermore, no team has ever claimed a championship after playing more than three games.
