Heart-wrenching Injury Hurts Thomas’ Draft Value

Former Clemson offensive lineman Brandon Thomas tore his ACL last week during a workout, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan.

Caplan also reported that the guard would have likely been a second- or third-round pick in next month’s NFL draft, but the injury may result in the O-lineman going undrafted.

Thomas started every game in his last two years with the Tigers, and he registered 10 starts in 2011.  He received first-team All-ACC honors from the media as a junior and was also a second-team All-Conference selection as a senior.
