Coaches around the ACC accept the ALS ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’

Over the last month, the ALS Association’s fundraiser known as the “Ice Bucket Challenge” has gone viral, and several coaches throughout the ACC have taken part in raising awareness to help fight the disease. The concept is simple: If you receive the challenge, then you have 24 hours to shower yourself in ice water and/or donate to the cause.

Below, we have videos of basketball and football coaches around the conference who took part in the challenge. Larry Fedora’s six pack isn’t seen in any of the videos (although he did accept the challenge), but you will see a Roy Williams dance, hear a Frank Beamer squeal and have the chance to see a ruthless bucket slam by Scott Shafer.

(Note: Louisville and Pittsburgh are not yet represented, but we’ll cut them some slack for now since they’re some of the newer members of the ACC).
