Childress expects All-ACC year out of Miller-McIntyre

Wake Forest assistant coach Randolph Childress came on The David Glenn Show on Thursday to talk Tim Duncan, Danny Manning and the state of Wake Forest basketball. During a busy offseason, the Deacons have hired a new head coach and also seen two players transfer in Tyler Cavanaugh and Arnaud William Adala Moto.

Toward the end of the interview, Childress was asked about the shape of the team’s returning roster, and he quickly pointed to the Deacs’ starting point guard.

“I think Codi Miller-McIntyre, our lead guard, is a very talented player, and I’m expecting an All-ACC type of year out of him,” Childress said. “I’m proud of him.”

Childress, who played for Wake Forest from 1990-95, also talked about his relationship with former college teammate Tim Duncan. Click below to hear the full interview:
