LeBron James isn’t the only player who is “coming home” this summer. Former Wake Forest receiver Michael Campanaro joined The David Glenn Show on Thursday. Campanaro was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round of this years’ draft, just 34 miles from his hometown of Silver Spring, Md.

Campanaro graduated from Wake Forest after breaking Desmond Clark’s school record for all-time receptions with 229.

As the No. 218  overall pick in this year's draft, Campanaro moved back up to Maryland, and when talking on The David Glenn Show, he said “it's been good coming back home.”

Campanaro also talked in the interview about his new teammate and former Carolina Panther Steve Smith.

“I’ve been watching his every move and seeing how he approaches the game,” Campanaro said. "He’s been so approachable, and he’s always dishing out knowledge on the little things that he sees.”

Campanaro spoke highly of his new team and looks forward to find his role as a slot receiver and special teams contributor for the Baltimore Ravens this fall.
