ACC Recruiting Twitter Compilation, Aug. 26

Monday, August 26, 2013 8:43am

We’ve culled all of today’s ACC-related recruiting tweets from Twitter so you don’t have to! They’re listed below and divided up by school.

The Tigers’ huge game against Georgia isn’t just about getting off to a strong start this season; it’s about laying the groundwork with lots of important recruits.

As Paul Strelow notes, Georgia is critical recruiting turf for Clemson. A big win over the Bulldogs could give the Tigers a nice boost in the Peach State.

More from Paul Strelow: Marcus Lewis, a big 6-2 cornerback in the 2015 class, reviews his recent visit to Death Valley.

If you’re keeping track, Cook is a one-time Clemson commitment who’s now committed to Florida but who still has hometown Miami - and FSU - in the mix. Oh and Cook is teammates with Joseph Yearby, the one-time FSU commitment who is now a Canes commit. Got it?

Miami trying to get a WR to flip from FSU? Yes, as you’d imagine, James Coley is prominently involved.

North Carolina

Hood, one of the nation’s top running back prospects, recently de-committed from Notre Dame in part because it was too far from Charlotte. Now the buzz seems to be that he’ll soon pick nearby North Carolina.

It certainly helps the Tar Heels’ cause that a pair of UNC commitments, Cayson Collins and Robert Dinkins, are now working hard to get Hood to join them in Chapel Hill.

N.C. State

The Wolfpack is one of four finalists to land Malik Abu, who will make his choice on Sept. 7.
