Boston College is on track to fulfill our fearless prediction as the 2007 Atlantic Division champion with its 24-10 win at Georgia Tech in ACCweek 3. QB Matt Ryan, throwing for over 400 yards, shredded the Yellow Jacket defense and was spectacular. The Big Four went 3-1 last weekend. Duke's 20-14 victory over Northwestern was extra special. In ending the nation's longest losing streak, it gave the Blue Devils a leg up as they prepare for a great gut check against Navy.

Speaking of pre-game prep -- all eyes will be on Miami as they get ready for Texas A&M on ESPN Thursday night. This game is huge for Randy Shannon's Hurricanes.

Clemson basketball got a nice pickup late last week when Top 150 6-5 WG Tanner Smith of Norcross (GA) Wesleyan announced for the Tigers…. Along the recruiting trail, the word is out about Hot 25 Raleigh (NC) Word Of God 6-4 WG John Wall.

ACC Football Commitment Tally: Boston College (13), Clemson (15), Duke (11), Florida State (16), Georgia Tech (13), Maryland (15), Miami (15), North Carolina (4), North Carolina State (11), Virginia (12), Virginia Tech (19), Wake Forest (10).
