Boston College
Here are some of the best quotes after BC's win over N.C. State. Luke Kuechly is setting the tone for the Carolina Panthers defense even at a young age. Olivier Hanlan scored 38 to lead the Eagles to a win over Florida Atlantic.

Clemson
The Tigers handily defeated in-state rivals South Carolina 71-57 on the hardwood. Clemson moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 poll to No. 7.

Duke
It's still hard for most people to believe that Duke football is for real, but it is. The Blue Devils truly went from worst to first since David Cutcliffe took over. The Blue Devils are now 8-2 after defeating Miami, and they moved into the AP Top 25.

Florida State
Jameis Winston's attorney didn't have great things to say about the state attorney. The Winston case is lingering over the Seminoles as they try to reach the BCS title ame. Some of the defensive players seemed to be a little bored at the end of the Syracuse blowout, so they started playing Hangman. Ian Miller led the basketball team to an easy 89-61 win over Tennessee-Martin.

Georgia Tech
Offensive tackle commit Jake Whitley has been recovering from an ACL/PCL injury earlier in the season. Here are eight takeaways from the GT-Clemson game.

Maryland
With Barack Obama on hand, Oregon State (coached by Obama's brother-in-law) defeated Maryland in basketball. Here are five reasons why Maryland's victory over Virginia Tech was stunning.

Miami
Perhaps the greatest reason Miami lost to Duke was the defense, which seemed to just disappear. And Al Golden was not satisfied with the way his defense played. Miami just doesn't seem to be on the same page right now.

North Carolina
Belmont stunned the Tar Heels in a 83-80 win in Chapel Hill. Still without Leslie McDonald and P.J. Hairston, UNC doesn't have the talent it needs. This one Belmont fan is getting some attention for singing Miley Cyrus during a James Michael McAdoo free throw (which he missed). I was at the game, and I can add that this fan sang many other songs such as Locked Out of Heaven or The Lion Sleeps Tonight. UNC linebacker Jeff Schoettmer has worked his way from walk-on to starter, but he also is a good student

N.C. State
Brandon Mitchell missed the BC game because of an ankle injury. Though Campbell played the Wolfpack tough in basketball, N.C. State took over at the end to win

Notre Dame
Maryland and UNC weren't the only ACC teams to experience disappointing losses, as Notre Dame fell to Indiana State. Last year's win over BYU still stings for the Cougars, and the two teams will play again this weekend.

Pittsburgh
The men's basketball team easily beat Howard 84-52 behind a record-setting first half in which the Panthers shot 17-for-21. Injuries are starting to take a toll on the football team.

Syracuse
There was a very scary moment during Syracuse's game with FSU Saturday as CB Julian Whigham was taken to the hospital after a hit that caused blood to flow from his mouth. A reporter spent some time with him after the incident, and he seems to be OK now, but this is a good story about Whigham's time in the hospital. Though the Orange looked sluggish at times, they outlasted Colgate to win 69-50. Syracuse.com looks back on the five things Syracuse needed to do to upset FSU, which clearly didn't happen.

Virginia
The Cavaliers defeated Davidson in basketball with a strong effort from Mike Tobey.

Virginia Tech
The loss to Maryland was a tough pill to swallow for some Virginia Tech players. This writer makes a case for Derrick Hopkins being the team MVP this year.

Wake Forest
The interesting tale of former four-star commit Isaac Haas could come to a close today as he is expected to make a choice. UAB and Purdue have also been linked to Haas since he didn't sign with Wake Forest on signing day. Wake Forest hosts Jacksonville University in basketball tonight.
