Boston College
Former BC Eagle Jared Dudley - now in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers - talks (video) about transitioning to his new team after several seasons in Phoenix with the Suns. Incoming three-star WR Thaddius Smith has the prototypical size and quickness to become a slot maven in the Eagles' offense; however, he also possesses the speed to be used on the down the field, too, on the perimeter.

Clemson
Down in Mobile at the Senior Bowl, few players have more buzz - both good and bad - surrounding them than Clemson QB Tajh Boyd. Well, is this the year? The Tigers are 0-56 all-time in Chapel Hill; this Sunday, the Tigers visit the Smith Center hoping to put an end their Carolina blue demons.

Duke
The Blue Devils haven't lost at Cameron Indoor Stadium since UNC defeated them in the 2012 season finale - 27 straight games. They'll put that streak on the line tomorrow when they play host to Florida State - a team with enough size inside to potentially bother Duke.

Florida State
Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton joined our David Glenn yesterday to discuss a variety of topics, including the successful matriculation of Pitt and Syracuse into the conference, and his team's upcoming games against Duke and N.C. State. After collecting 15 tackles in the national title game against Auburn, linebacker Telvin Smith is looking to further increase his draft stock this week down in Mobile.

Georgia Tech
Paul Johnson and the Yellow Jackets have a potentially big recruiting weekend, starting today, scheduled - check here for all the necessary information. Here are some extra thoughts on Georgia Tech's schedule for the 2014 football season.

Maryland
Chris Knoche - the radio analyst for Maryland basketball - opined about the Terrapins lack of leadership and what happened Monday night in Raleigh against N.C. State. Two important 2014 recruits - OLB Nnamdi Egbuaba and CB Daniel Ezeagwu - will both be taking their official visits to College Park this weekend.

Miami
Al Golden's Hurricanes accepted two new preferred walk-ons to the team - both will arrive in the fall. One of the two - kicker Jonathan Semerene - could have an immediate role with the Canes in 2014, too.

North Carolina
In a meeting with Board of Trustees meeting yesterday, UNC chancellor Carol Folt addressed the athletics and academics scandals that have hung over the school's head for years: "I think we all know that to move forward we have to make sure that everyone understands that we absolutely feel accountable and we’re going to learn from that painful history." UNC linebacker Travis Hughes has been suspended from all team activities after getting charged with assault.

N.C. State
Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack landed a big time commit earlier this week when 4-star OT Will Richardson flipped from UVa to NCSU. You can thank one intrepid Wolfpack fan for playing a role in Richardson's change of heart. (Hint: Hair was involved). Well, this one seemed to be in the cards last week, but yesterday three-star safety Shawn Boone made it official, committing to N.C. State.

Notre Dame
In the last seven games, backup power forward Austin Burgett has played at least 15 minutes in each contest - and he plans on keeping it that way, too.

Pittsburgh
Winning on the road has been no big deal for the Panthers under Jamie Dixon; they'll look to continue that trend tomorrow night against Maryland. Pitt's star senior swingman Lamar Patterson has been named to the United States Basketball Writers Association Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List.

Syracuse
After competing in the East-West Shrine Game last week, DT Jay Bromley will take the next step toward a pro career when he participates in the NFL scouting combine, which takes place a month from now. The Orange are 18-0 and sit atop the ACC. A big reason for this, obviously, has been a cohesive team that seems to like playing with one another. Also, the Carrier Dome is home sweet home.

Virginia
Just how bad will things get when Tony Bennett's Cavaliers play host to in-state rival Virginia Tech on Saturday? The key for Virginia tomorrow: stopping VT's star forward Jarell Eddie.

Virginia Tech
Times are bleak for Virginia Tech hoops up in Blacksburg. How did the team that hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2007 fall so hard, so quickly? Tajh Boyd isn't the only former ACC signal-caller down in Mobile trying to build up his pro stock; here's a check in on Logan Thomas.

Wake Forest
For the first time since the first week of November wide receiver Michael Campanaro is back on the football field, and the former Demon Deacon couldn't be happier to be out catching passes from Boyd and Thomas down at the Senior Bowl
