Boston College
The Eagles were hungry for a win yesterday, but they couldn't overcome a fast start from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Boston College made a run in the second half, but it wasn't enough.

Clemson
The Clemson Tigers fell flat on the road against Pitt, losing 76-43. Clemson football players' NFL draft prospects are shaky after Sammy Watkins goes somewhere in the first round.

Duke
The Blue Devils will seek their first conference road win today against a stifling Miami defense. Despite Duke's shaky start to ACC play, and an undefeated Syracuse team, some people still believe Coach K's team has a shot at taking the conference

Florida State
Ian Miller hit a last-second shot to give the Seminoles the lead and a win against Notre Dame last night. Bud Elliot talks about FSU recruitment and discusses the empty Florida State defensive coordinator position.

Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets started their game against Boston College in terrific fashion, but they faded down the stretch and just managed to hang on to a win. Georgia Tech is going to have to rely on Daniel Miller to score more if it wants to finish the season on a better note than it has started.

Maryland
The Kansas City Royals and former Maryland baseball player Justin Maxwell have agreed to a one-year contract to avoid arbitration. Brendan Darr wonders if the Terps are at a new low in basketball ... with gifs.

Miami
The Hurricanes are looking to re-create last year's magic against the Blue Devils when they come to town tonight. Miami beat Duke by 27 points when the Blue Devils were the No. 1 team in the country. Seantrell Henderson wants to use the Senior Bowl to raise his NFL draft status and move away from his past troubles.

North Carolina
Brian Barbour tries to address a popular question of late: "Why didn't Roy Williams recruit any shooters?" ESPN's C.L. Brown says the panic button is on standby for the Tar Heels.

N.C. State
The Wolfpack's win over Maryland has inspired new hope in the team going forward this season. While many wonder about State's basketball team, Dave Doeren has been busy getting commitments from an entire offensive line.

Notre Dame
Notre Dame athletics recently agreed to a 10-year deal with Under Armour. In Eric Murtaugh's series looking back at Notre Dame redshirts, he reviews linebacker Michael Deeb.

Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh continued to breeze through its conference opponents--well, except for Syracuse--with a 76-43 drubbing of Clemson. Paul Zeise sent out his Pitt basketball chat transcript yesterday.

Syracuse
The Syracuse basketball team reacts to the loss of Dajuan Coleman for the season. Coleman also missed time last season with an injury. In the meantime, Trevor Cooney is trying to get out of his shooting slump.

Virginia
The Virginia Cavaliers are stepping up so far this season after an iffy non-conference stretch created a few doubters for the team. Virginia is in on linebacker Nnamdi Egbuaba, along with Maryland and Connecticut.

Virginia Tech
Former Texas offensive line coach Stacy Searels is expected to take the same position with Virginia Tech. With the Hokies' offensive line going through a full transition, GobblerCountry.com looks back at the shortcomings the unit has had over the years and talks about what it needs to do to improve.

Wake Forest
Former Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe isn't going to be the head coach of UAB either--Bill Clark is getting that position. The Demon Deacons have lost three of their past four basketball games and are looking to get back on track with a win against Virginia Tech tonight.
