Boston College
There are reports that one of the top recruits from last year, DT Tevin Montgomery, is transferring. Andre Williams went to ESPN for the "car wash" that'll maybe help create some buzz for him with postseason awards. Williams is proud of his accomplishments, not only on the field but also in the classroom.

There are a bunch of Clemson juniors who might be looking to enter the NFL draft or at least test the waters. SB Nation's Clemson blog held a Q&A with the Arkansas blog in anticipation of the Clemson-Arkansas game on Saturday.

It looks like little-used forward Alex Murphy will be transferring from Duke. David Cutcliffe got some well-deserved recognition as he was named coach of the year by the Walter Camp foundation. Running back Josh Snead is looking to have a better outcome in Charlotte on Saturday - the Devils lost in last year's Belk Bowl. Cutcliffe molded this program for years, and finally, Duke made its own path to the ACC title game.

Florida State
For those of you who live under a rock, Jameis Winston won't be charged for sexual assault. The state attorney said there wasn't enough evidence to continue forward with charges. It's going to be very cold in Charlotte Saturday night, but the Noles says that shouldn't affect them too much.

Georgia Tech
Running back Robert Godhigh won the Brian Piccolo award from the ACC. The award is given to the most courageous player, and Godhigh has battled through injuries throughout his career.

Here is the Baltimore Sun's weekly recruiting roundup for Maryland with some updates on five-star prospects Damian Prince and Jalen Tabor. Is Mark Turgeon feeling more heat than Randy Edsall now?

Stephen Morris will get another chance to impress the NFL scouts after the bowl game in the East-West Shrine game. If you want a laugh, a Miami fan made fun of Florida's mediocre season with this T-shirt idea.

North Carolina
This Grantland article looks at UNC's improbable win over MSU and how UNC's season will continue to be unpredictable. Neither Roy Williams nor the players could explain all of the ups and downs.

N.C. State
RB Shadrach Thornton is a suspect in a sexual battery case, and Thornton and freshman safety J.J. Jones were also charged with marijuana possession. The school said Thornton has been suspended, and Jones plans to transfer. The Wolfpack is moving on to the 2014 season, and that couldn't have come soon enough

Notre Dame
ESPN.com took a look at Notre Dame's bowl options. There's also a report that the Irish have expressed interest in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. Offensive coordinator Chuck Martin is gone, but here are some of his best quotes

The basketball team will host Loyola Marymount tonight, and the team features a dynamic guard that could give Pitt problems. Jamie Dixon discussed his signings for the class of 2013, and he said it was important to land some local recruits. Sophomore guard Cam Wright says the Panthers get motivation out of being unranked. This weekend's games will have a lot of effect on where Pitt ends up going for a bowl game.

So apparently at the Syracuse-Indiana game, there was an Indiana fan who decided to take off her clothes and sit in her bra and underwear ... umm ... yeah. In some more normal news, Syracuse.com looks at the bowl options for the Orange. Jerami Grant discussed the art of the tip-slam

DT recruit Andrew Brown was named Gatorade player of the year in Virginia. In women's soccer news, UVa is the favorite to win the NCAA title.

Virginia Tech
2015 prospect Marcus Lewis had committed to the Hokies in mid-November, but he's already backing off of that. Though not directly related to sports, VT is introducing a new president on Friday. This comes as the AD position is changing, as well.

Wake Forest
Ball State head coach Pete Lembo has emerged as a candidate to replace Jim Grobe. AD Ron Wellman was in Indiana to speak with Lembo, who used to coach at nearby Elon. In basketball, the Demon Deacons are 7-2, and a strong bench is a big reason why. Transfer Coron Williams has made a big impact in his first year, averaging 12 points per game so far.
