Boston College

Cornerback Al Louis-Jean has been suspended for the season opener against Villanova due to a violation of team rules. WR Alex Amidon comes in as the 13th-best player in the ACC.


USA Today writes that Dabo Swinney is building a firm foundation at Clemson. The Clemson-Georgia game cannot get here fast enough (as I’m sure most would agree).


It is time for QB Anthony Boone to shine, writes Laura Keeley of the Charlotte Observer. The Duke women’s soccer team split its first two games this weekend, including a win over #12 Texas A&M.

Florida State

USA Today ranks Florida State 8th in the country. In a big blow to Leonard Hamilton and the ‘Noles basketball team, Xavier Rathan-Mayes was declared academically ineligible at Florida State for the season.

Georgia Tech
