a valid suggestion there never could be a challenge to the ACC’s status as
the nation’s No. 1 basketball conference.
After all, since 1991, the league has produced five national
champions: Duke in ‘91, ‘92 and 2001; North Carolina in ‘93; and Maryland last
season….
