CHAPEL HILL — Tyler Hansbrough’s a sucker for peer pressure.
That’s the best way to explain how after a Friday afternoon in late April, the face of college basketball became a Facebook fascination.
One second, Hansbrough was chatting on a balcony at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house on campus. The next second, with chants of “Ty-ler! Ty-ler!” provoking the daredevil in him, Hansbrough was in mid-air, socks and shirt still on, plunging Louganis-style into an above-ground pool in the yard below.
