No. 2 Duke: Talented, Mature Group Seeks Return to Elite Level Premium Content

DURHAM — There is little doubt that the Duke basketball team has grown up over the last three seasons. Will age bring more success?

The youngest Blue Devil team since World War II (no seniors, one junior on the roster) won 22 games in 2007, losing its final four games to finish with the worst Duke record since 1996. Last year’s team was a bit older, but it still included just one senior and two juniors in the regular rotation. The 2008 Blue Devils won 28 games and finished as the nation’s No. 9-ranked team but once again fizzled in the postseason.
