No. 10 Georgia Tech: Hewitt Will Build Upon Point Guards, Post Players

ATLANTA — Lewis Clinch has heard the quiet rumblings of Georgia Tech naysayers, who have said that the upcoming season will be a repeat of all the other recent mediocre years the Yellow Jackets have experienced. But that isn’t keeping the senior guard from proudly letting his optimism show.

“With the way people are talking about us, I think we’re going to overachieve this year,” Clinch said. “People see a lot of doubt in us because we lost this guy, we lost that guy, but we’ve been working really hard. This is the closest that we’ve ever been as a team, and that’s going to help us win some close games.”
