FSU’s 2005 Class: Strong, Not Spectacular
Antone Smith has been very good for Florida State in this, his senior season. But that’s a bit less than what was expected out of Smith back in 2005 when he was considered by many to be the No. 1 running back recruit in the country.
As Bob Thomas writes, Smith is a microcosm of the Seminoles’ 2005 recruiting class, a group that is delivering solid results in 2008 but hasn’t lived up to the hype of four years ago.
