The State of Recruiting In: South Carolina, Oct. 14

As if recruiting is not difficult enough for players and coaches already, toss in a situation where a head coach resigns in mid-season and watch how messy things can get . That is exactly what is happening in South Carolina with the resignation of Tommy Bowden on Monday.
With six of the state’s top players from the 2009 class committed to Clemson, as well as one from the 2010 class, the current situation is a concern for the Tigers. It may also be a blessing for other ACC schools.
